NGO DARPAN is a platform developed by NITI Aayog (Government of India) to bring transparency, accountability, and partnership between NGOs/Trusts and the Government. Registration on this portal is essential for NGOs who wish to receive grants or work with government bodies.
Documents Required for NGO DARPAN Registration
- PAN Card of NGO/Trust/Society
- Registration Certificate (Trust Deed / Society Registration Certificate / Section 8 Incorporation Certificate)
- Details of 3 Key Members (Name, PAN, Designation, Contact)
- Mobile number and Email ID of the organization
- Office address proof
- Act under which the NGO is registered
- Date of registration and objectives of the organization

Process of NGO DARPAN Registration in India
Visit the Portal
Go to the official site: https://ngodarpan.gov.in
Click on ‘Sign Up’
Register using the mobile number and email ID of the NGO.
Verify Email and Mobile
OTP will be sent to verify your contact details.
Create Login Credentials
Set your username and password to access the portal.
Fill in Organization Details
Enter PAN, registration number, address, objectives, and activities.
Add Governing Body Members
Add details of at least three key persons with PAN and designation.
Upload Required Documents
can and upload PAN, Registration Certificate, and other required documents.
Submit the Form
Review all entries and submit the registration form.
